iiGrowth Beginnings

iiGrowth was founded by Gustav Plato.

Gustav’s inspiration for iiGrowth was his wife, Rasma, who is on a continuous journey to master the field of landscape design and architecture. She has shared many stories and lessons learned in sustainable design, natural ecosystems, and thinking globally but acting locally. These stories have permeated all aspects of iiGrowth’s vision, mission, and values.

This inspiration was further refined in discussions with Gustav’s close friends, as well as many other business and personal advisers. All pointed to the need to give birth to a business that can create rapid and sustainable results. Drawing upon his 25 years of work in numerous consulting organizations including Coopers & Lybrand and IBM, as well as a legion of loyal friends and trusted advisors, Gustav then set off on this journey. This journey evolved into iiGrowth during the summer and early fall of 2007. He met with dozens of individuals an matured the concept of iiGrowth from paper to reality.
